KKM'S HOMELESS AND OUTREACH INITIATIVE

Serving with a smile is KKM's extension to the community. We offer outreach ministry in various different ways. It all started in 1996, Bishop Kimberly returned to the old neighborhood she grew up in, in Woodbridge Virginia.  It was her hearts desire to pick up the trash, sweep the sidewalks put food on the grill and bring unity to a divided community. Her brother brought the word and God was exalted. Many were led to Christ and also joined our church. We called it Operation Cleanup. We continued operation cleanup in a lot of less fortunate areas. 

She trained with Dr. James D. Kennedy’s Evangelism Explosion and began to go door to door claiming souls for Christ. Doors opened at the Hilda Barg Preventive Shelter and we were able to prepare hot meals, pack bag lunches, and also teach Bible studies on a weekly basis. The Bible says "He who win souls is wise," however, we were able to provide them with other services such as; to prepare resumes, help people get jobs, help them get assisted living and teach them how to drive.  

We  expanded our ministry to the Washington DC area at Malcolm X Park, as well as, the state of Maryland and anywhere in the world that would open the door.  We served selflessly by Gods grace: meeting the communities needs, and watching people experience healings and deliverances. We were blessed by the powerful ministry taking place outside of the four walls of the church. 

Today the work continues through Kimberly Kindred Ministries.  Our services consist of:

• mentoring

• weddings & funerals 

• soul winning 

• ice cream socials 

• senior living facilities
